Founder Layer
Terms

Terms and conditions.

The short version

This summary helps you read the terms. The full terms below are what apply.

1. Who we are

Founder Layer is operated by Founder Layer FZCO, a company registered with the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Founder Layer", "we", "us").

These terms apply to founderlayer.ai, the free audit and the Founder Layer service (together, "the service"). By creating an account, starting a trial or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent ("you").

2. Who can use Founder Layer

The service is built for businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the business you sign up for. You may not use the service as a consumer for personal, family or household purposes.

3. The service

Founder Layer gives you AI teams that work for your business: marketing (CMO), product (CPO), business development (CBO), finance (CFO) and legal (CLO). Each team prepares work and waits for your approval. Our website shows which teams are live today and which are in development. We do not promise launch dates.

AI-generated work

The work is produced with artificial intelligence. It can contain errors, outdated information or wording you would not use. The gate checks every draft against your rules, but no check is perfect. You review and approve work before it is published or used, unless you have chosen a higher autonomy level.

Autonomy levels

Every account starts at level one, where each piece of work waits for your approval. You may move a team to a higher level (approve by exception, feedback only or running) and back down at any time. When you choose a higher level, you authorise us to publish or act on work within the rules you set without approving each piece. You remain responsible for that work.

Stopping work

One switch per brand stops all publishing straight away.

4. Your account

Keep your login details secure and tell us at once at contact@founderlayer.ai if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity on your account, including activity by team members you invite.

5. Plans, credits and payment

Plans

We offer Starter, Growth and Agency plans as shown on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and other taxes, which we add where the law requires. Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Yearly plans are billed once for twelve months at the discount shown.

Credits

Payment

We take payment by invoice or through a third-party payment processor, named in our privacy policy. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for each billing period and for any top-ups you buy. If a payment fails or an invoice is not paid on time, we may pause the service until it is paid.

Price changes

We may change prices or credit rates. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your plan. The change applies from your next billing period. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.

6. Free trial and refunds

Starter and Growth start with a 3-day free trial. No payment card is needed. During the trial your team builds your Brand Wiki and creates your first batch of content for you to review. Nothing is published during the trial. To keep access to your dashboard and start publishing when the trial ends, choose a paid plan.

If you are not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, whether you pay monthly or yearly, by writing to contact@founderlayer.ai. We refund the full amount of that first payment to the original payment method. This applies once per customer and does not cover top-up credits. After those 7 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where we end the service under section 16 without cause.

7. Cancelling your plan

You can cancel at any time by writing to contact@founderlayer.ai or in your account settings where available. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have paid for and then ends. We do not charge you again. Cancelling a plan does not delete your account. To delete your account, see section 17.

8. Your content and data

"Your content" means everything you or your connected accounts give us (your website, documents, brand guidelines, posts, data and corrections) and the work the teams produce for you.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Where your content includes personal data about other people, we process it on your behalf under our data processing agreement, which is available on request and forms part of these terms.

9. Connected accounts and other platforms

To do the work, the teams connect to services you choose, such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, your CRM, your accounting software or your e-signature tool. We publish to social platforms through bundle.social, an authorised publishing service. By connecting an account, you authorise us to access it and act on it within the permissions you grant and the rules you set.

Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. They may change their features, limits or rules, or restrict accounts, at any time. We are not responsible for their decisions or for any loss caused by them. You can disconnect an account at any time.

10. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you approve and for how you use the service. You agree that you will:

You agree that you will not use the service to:

11. Finance and legal work

The finance (CFO) and legal (CLO) teams prepare work for you and for a qualified professional to review. Founder Layer does not give legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. No lawyer-client or accountant-client relationship is created.

12. The free audit

When you share a website address, we review publicly available information about that website and its presence in search, AI answers and social media. You must only submit websites you own or are authorised to represent. The audit is a free estimate for information only. You may keep and use it whether or not you subscribe.

13. Our intellectual property

We own the service, including the software, the gate, the workflows, our website and our brand. These terms do not give you any rights in them except the right to use the service while your account is active. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

14. Confidentiality

We keep your non-public content and business information confidential. Our staff and contractors may access it only when needed to provide or support the service, and they are bound by confidentiality duties. We may disclose it if the law or a court requires us to. Where allowed, we will tell you first.

15. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance. Features marked as preview or beta are provided as they are and may change or end.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if you do not pay, or if your use creates legal risk or harm to us, other users or third parties. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. If we end the service without cause, we refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

If your access ends, you can still ask for an export of your content for 30 days, unless the law prevents it.

17. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time by writing to contact@founderlayer.ai. We recommend asking for an export first.

Deleting your account ends your plan. Unused credits are lost and are not refunded, except under section 6.

18. What we promise and what we do not

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that and any rights you have by law that cannot be excluded, the service is provided "as is". We do not promise any particular result, such as reach, followers, leads, revenue or search rankings. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

19. Limits on liability

20. Indemnity

You will cover our reasonable costs and losses arising from a third-party claim caused by content you approved or provided, or by your breach of these terms or the law.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the service. The updated terms apply from the date stated. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

22. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. We will first try to settle any dispute in good faith. If that fails within 30 days, the dispute will be finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), by one arbitrator, seated in Dubai and conducted in English. Either of us may still ask a court for urgent interim relief. This does not take away any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you are based.
